Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and the Web

The Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and the Web (WebMedia) is an annual forum for research and practice in multimedia, hypermedia, and Web technologies. Organized by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), the symposium brings together researchers, students, and practitioners to present and discuss advances in multimedia and Web systems and to foster scientific and technical exchange among the communities working in these areas. 

Held annually since 1995, WebMedia covers a broad range of topics at the intersection of multimedia and the Web. The symposium provides a forum for presenting new research, technologies, systems, and applications and for strengthening connections between academic research and professional practice in Brazil and the international community.
