The ACM Conference on Human-AI Complementarity and Alignment (HCOMP) is the premier venue for disseminating the latest research on human-AI complementarity and alignment. The HCOMP community studies and designs systems that combine the complementary strengths of humans and artificial intelligence to achieve outcomes that neither could achieve alone, while ensuring that such systems are ethical, safe, and intentional. This research builds on a foundation established during HCOMP’s first decade as an AAAI conference series focused on human computation and crowdsourcing.
HCOMP 2026 is now accepting submissions for its upcoming edition, which will be held at the Virginia Tech Institute for Advanced Computing near Washington, DC.
