Hypertexts Wiki:About

From Hypertexts Wiki

Hypertext is a kind of writing. While most writing is typically presented in a sequence (e.g., in a book, the second page always comes directly after the first), hypertext uses links to create multiple paths through a document. The reader typically chooses links to move from one node of text to the next, and in this fashion arranges a story from a deeper pool of potential stories.

The Hypertext Reading Room Wiki allows participants to submit hypertexts (poetry, fiction, non-fiction) and allows others within the community to intereact with them and post comments, ideas, thoughts and suggestions about the hypertext.

With the kind sponsorship of Eastgate, there will be a prize for what is considered to be the best hypertext submitted to the Hypertext Reading Room.
