By Bus
From Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station, leave by the Fairfield Street exit and catch the 147 to the Museum door. From Manchester Airport take the 43a and 45a.
By Road
The Conference Venue is situated within the The University of Manchester Campus. All approach routes to the campus are clearly signposted Universities. From the M62 (East) Leave the M62 at J12 and join the M602 Salford for 4 miles (6.4 kilometres). At the end of the motorwayd, join the A57 Manchester, joining the A57M after 1 mile (1.6 kilometres). Leave at the A34 (signed Congleton), bear left (following signs for Universities), then get into the right hand lane. At the traffic lights, turn right into Grosvenor Street, then left onto Oxford Road. From the M62 (West) Leave the M62 at J18 and join the M60 Ring Road. Leave the M60 Ring Road at J22 and turn right at the traffic lights onto Oldham Road (A62). Continue along until the end of Oldham Road and join Great Ancoats Street (A665) via a sharp left turn. Follow signs for the Universities and join the Mancunian Way (A57M). Take the second exit off the Mancunian Way onto Higher Cambridge Street. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Booth Street West and then right at the next set of lights into Oxford Road (B5117). The Museum is situated about 500 yards (0.45 kilometres) on the right hand side.
From M56
At the end of the motorway, continue along the A5103 Manchester for 4 miles (6.4 kilometres). Turn right at the traffic lights (signed Whitworth Art Gallery, Museum, Universities). At the next lights, (Whitworth Pub) turn left onto Oxford Road, B5117.
From M67
At motorway end, continue along A57 for approx 3 miles (4.8 kilometres) towards City Centre. At the roundabout ( The Apollo theatre is on the left hand side), take the 2nd exit, signposted Universities. It is then approximately half a mile (0.8 kilometres) to Oxford Road.
