Indian Meal

Rusholme By Night

Manchester is home to a large number of different ethnic communities. One of the largest is the vibrantly Asian quarter of Rusholme. Known as the "Curry Mile", Rusholme is a neon strip awash with all kinds of spicy establishments and has the largest concentration of Asian restaurants in the UK. As such, Rusholme provides a destination for over 65,000 diners per week wanting to sample the award winning Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi cuisine on offer.

The Indian Meal is not part of the official conference social events and as such delegates will have to pay to attend. However, the organizing committee shall be attending and it provides a great opportunity to see what can only be described as a uniquely Mancunian phenomenon.

Date: Wednesday 12th September 2007
Time: 19:30 onwards
