Conference Hotels

Hypertext 07 will not be hosted at a hotel and therefore delegates will be required to make there own accommodation arrangements. However, the Manchester Museum is situated on Oxford Road, one of the main thoroughfares into the City. As such, there is a large and varied selection of hotels and accommodation facilities available close to the conference venue to suit most budgets.

Discounted Accommodation

Hypertext 2007 has negotiated discounts with various hotels within the City. However, these discounts will be awarded on a first come, first served basis and attendees are advised to book their accommodation as soon as possible.

Hilton Manchester Deansgate

The Hilton Manchester Deansgate have agreed to allocate 40 rooms to Hypertext 2007 at a discounted conference price of £125 per night for a single room and £135 per night for a double. They will release the rooms if they are not taken up 1 month before the start of the conference.

They will release the rooms if they are not taken up 2 months before the start of the conference. Delegates should quote "Hypertext 2007" at the time of booking in order to benefit from the discounted rate. University of Manchester Conference Services will require delegate's credit card details to guarantee the booking with the hotel, but then delagates will need to pay the hotel directly on arrival.

Crescent Bank will be available at a discounted conference price of £35 per night for a single room and £50 per night for a double room. Delegates should ring up and request to speak to "Khadija" (the manager) and say that they are booking accommodation for the "Hypertext Conference at the University of Manchester" to receive the discount.
