Autonomous Programmes

Hypertext 2007 will consist of five autonomous programmes under a single unified conference. Each autonomous programme will have its own programme committee and review team. However, the conference will join together these different strands of hypertext to create a single entity representing the diverse interests that exist within the community.

The range of topics within Hypertext 2007 will be represented with the following five autonomous programmes:

Hypertext Models and Theory:
Scholarly, Structural, Dynamic and Adaptive Models and Theory of hypertext.

Practical Hypertext:
Applications of hypertext including The Web, Semantic Web, Web Engineering, and Web Design.

Hypertext and Society:
The effect of hypertext on Developing Regions, Social Tagging and Annotation, Blogs, and eLearning.

Hypertext and The Person:
Human Centred hypertext including Browsers and Interfaces, Web Accessibility, Usability, Evaluation and Observational Studies.

Hypertext, Culture and Communication:
Art, Literature, Philosophy, and the hypertext tools to support them.
