Conference Overview

WebMedia 2008 will be held in Vila Velha/ES from October 26 to 29. Since its first edition, in 1995, WebMedia has become the most important Brazilian forum, among those promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), for researchers and professionals in the areas of Multimedia, Hypermedia and the Web. In 2008, in its fourteenth edition, WebMedia is being organized in conjunction with the Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC 2008).

This year, besides WebMedia’s traditional workshops, i.e. the Workshop on Ongoing Thesis and Dissertations, the Workshop on Undergraduate Research, and the Workshop on Tools and Applications, the symposium will also host:
  • Workshop on Information and Human Language Technology (TIL’08)
  • Workshop on Business Process Management (WBPM’08)
